He is survived by: his daughters, Marianne Sowers Wyatt (Michael) of Portsmouth, VA and Virginia Sowers Faulkner of Beatty, NV; and his stepson Michael Allen Cumbia (Mary) of Edenton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
