With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda T. Parks of Edenton, North Carolina, born in Tyner, North Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Taylor and Annie Ruth Taylor; and her son Tracy Taylor. She is survived by: her son Stanton Park; her stepdaughter Tonia Walton; her grandchildren, Najah, Tracy Jr., Tramere, Jarius, Trevon, Kamoni, Wayne', Nataliya and Standre; her sisters, Elector Hurdle of Tyner, NC, Lillie T. Riddick (Arthur) of Elizabeth City, NC and Debra Griffin (Edgar) of Elizabeth City, NC; and her cousin Connie Walton. She is also survived by four nieces, two nephews, and a host of family and friends.
