With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Keith Sawyer of Edenton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Lloyd and Matilda Wright Sawyer; his son Kevin Sawyer; and his brother Ronnie Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jean Bateman Sawyer; his sons, Marty Bunch (Julie), Brian Bunch (Stacie) of Suffolk, VA and Jesse Hobbs (Denisha) of Elizabeth City; his siblings, Judy Sawyer Dean (Mike) and Jack Sawyer (Diann) of Edenton; and his grandchildren, Jared, Jayden and Dexter.
