With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Culver Rackliffe of Edenton, North Carolina, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 8, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip T. Rackliffe and Mary Lappan Rackliffe; his brother Neal Rackliffe (Marie); and his stepson George E. Brickhouse, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Ann Rackliffe; his daughters, Karen Orris (John) and Dianne Rackliffe; and his stepchildren, Sherry Bain (late Kenny) and James Brickhouse. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
