He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Mitchell; his mother Betty Mitchell Harris; and his uncles, Russell A. Mitchell and Steadman Mitchell. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, April Hubbard and Amy Robertson (Rob); his grandchildren, Kayla, Kenny, Alice Hubbard, Alysha Harmon, Gabrielle Robertson and Gavin Robertson; his aunt Shirley Mitchell; his cousins, Sandra Mitchell, Gary Mitchell, Vernell Mitchell, Karen Mitchell, Dale Mitchell and Christy Mitchell; and his friend Tracy Stowe of Ridgeway. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Fair Funeral Home (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ridgeview Memorial Gardens (1658 NC-135, Eden, NC 27288).
