She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Henry and Dora Carroll Cox; her husbands, Bobby Wray Newnam, Daniel Robinson and Rev. Johnny Dyer; and her siblings, George D. Cox, Fred Cox, Lois Gentry, Vivian Riddle, Hilda Hundley and Coleen Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Robbin Newnam (Jo) of Reidsville, Henry Dale Newnam (Tanya) of Waco, TX, Mark Albert Newnam (Belinda) of Palmetto, FL and Jewel Van Abel (Robert) of Fayetteville; and her sister Betty Collie of Cary. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
