She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis Adams and Bernice Martin Adams. She is survived by: her daughters, Ginger H. Smothers (Jerry) and Sheryl L. Hilton (Angie); her grandchildren, Hunter Smothers (Jamie), Megan Smothers Byrd (Jeremy), Greyson Altamirano-Hilton, Remy Spencer Altamirano-Hilton, Bryan Hilton (Ashley) and Jason Hilton; and her great grandchildren, Claire Byrd, Lilly Byrd, Charlotte Smothers, Bennett Smothers, Blake Hilton (Maddie) and Collin Hilton.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lawson Cemetery (526 Patterson St, Eden, NC 27288).
