She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Lee Kennon and Dollie Massey Kennon; her husband Theo Jackson Allen; her grandchildren, Josh Turner, Melissa Tompkins and Ryan Massey; her great grandchild Grayson Lee Hatcher; and her siblings, Baby "Herbert", Jesse Kennon, Melvin Kennon, Ruby Adkins, Hazel Robertson and Lucille Baker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Hatcher (Jimmy) of Eden, Deborah Pulliam of Eden, Laverne Bunnie'Coleman of High Point, Tammy Church (Ken) of Stoneville and Lori Allen (Jason) of Reidsville; her siblings, Beatrice Blanchard of Eden, Evon Pierce of Eden, Veronica Duck of Whitsett and Billy Kennon of Eden; her grandchildren, Jerry, Stephen Hatcher, Tracey Ellis, Jennifer Thill, Ashley Pulliam, Chris, Eric Coleman, Kathryn Church and Rebekah Bowling; and her caregivers, Donna, Gilda, Tia, Beth, Tracey Ellis, Ashley Pulliam and Kathryn Church. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
