She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Myrtle Lambert Smith. She is survived by: her husband Grady Gilmore; and her sister Janice Smith of Eden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288).
