With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Avery Robinson of Eden, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Avery Robinson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bascom and Alice Fowler Robinson; his wife Mary Frances Doyle Robinson; his son Ernie Clifton Robinson; and his siblings, Evelyn Shaver, C. B., Jr., Jack, Kenneth, Worth and Richard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan R. Arrington, Debbie R. Landrum, Valerie R. Tilley (Mike) and Elaine R. Wise (David); his grandchildren, Kristen Robinson, Randy Robinson, Andrew Tilley, Nick Tilley (Abbie) and Alex Wise (Jessica Stowe); and his brothers, Graham (Bonnie) and Jim (Laura).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (533 Greenwood St, Eden, NC 27288). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be sent to Hospice of Rockingham County (Ancora Compassionate Care), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Rockingham Council Bible Education (RCBE) or to First Baptist Church – Western NC Recovery to assist with NC Mountains Disaster Relief.
