He was predeceased by: his stepfather Horace Parker; and his sister Mabel Parker. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Broadnax-Colbert; his daughter Tammara Broadnax; his grandchildren, Danyel Harris of Detroit, MI, Patricia Neal of Reidsville, NC, Otto Delano Harris IV of Detroit, MI and Samuel Youse III of Reidsville, NC; his siblings, Inell Parker of Detroit, MI and Elder Darnell Colbert of Cleveland, OH; his siblings-in-law, Annie Corbett of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Linda Richardson (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Broadnax of Eden, NC, Timothy Broadnax of Eden, NC and Elder Donald Dupree of Cleveland, OH; his aunt Doris Gibson of Macon, GA; his cousins, Aretha (Terry), Taylor of Decatur, GA, Glenda Fallings (Walter) of Roberta, GA, Yvonne Gibson of Macon, GA and Denise Gibson (Dexter); and his goddaughter JaNyah Martin of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
