He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Hampton Sr. and Cannie Sheffield Hampton; his wife Pamela Hampton; and his brother Johnny Jack. He is survived by: his sisters, Rosabell Hampton Phillips and Annie Mae Fuller; his children, Roderick Hampton of Orlando, FL and Coshenda Clark of Greensboro, NC; his brother Harvey Hampton (Mattie) of Eden, NC; his siblings-in-law, Vanessa Smith of Greensboro, NC and Gerry Clark (Mell) of Reidsville, NC; and his grandchildren, Courtney, Mashaela Moffitt of Greensboro, NC, Ty'leah, Nijayla, Dumarius Hampton of Eden, NC and Jayven Baize of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and long-time friends.
