He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Murphy and Kathleen Murphy; and his son Christopher Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Sheri of Sheriff's Office; his children, Kevin, Angie and Ryan Murphy (Tiffany); and his grandchildren, Channing, Cody, Logan, Judah, Olive and Georgia Murphy.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Osborne Baptist Church (326 E Stadium Dr, Eden, NC 27288).
