She is survived by: her husband Terry Glidewell; her children, Amy Magrinat (Tommy), Karen Gibson (Chris) and Edward Glidewell; her grandchildren, Walker Magrinat, Aubrey Magrinat, Jude Robertson, Cooper Gibson and Brooks Gibson; her siblings, Doris Anne Williams (Judy McCall), Patricia Smith (Linda Lindley) and Lester Lee Pollard, Jr.; and her in-laws, Caleb and Audrey Glidewell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Lupine Community School, 35 W. Newman Rd., Chapel Hill, NC 27517, to create a scholarship in Mary Virginia's name.
