She is survived by: her children, Connie Vernon Southern of Longs, SC and J. R. Vernon (Jan) of Eden, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Ridgeview Memorial Gardens (1658 NC-135, Eden, NC 27288).
