Margie Shively Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margie Shively of Eden, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lee Hopkins and Margie Pearl Cook Hopkins; her husband Joe Shively; and her sisters, April Hopkins Shelton and Lynn Shively.
She is survived by: her daughter Chasity Hankins (Alex); her siblings, Ricky Hopkins (Hazel) of Eden and Nancy Dishmon (Louise) of Eden; her grandchildren, Alexis Chapman (Michael) of Ft. Bragg, NC and Destiny Hankins; and her caregiver Gilda. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
