She is survived by: her children, Brenda Martin Denney (Reggie) of Eden and Albert B. Sumner, Jr. of Carthage, NC; her grandchildren, Chuck Denney (Kristin) of New London, NC, Diana Ferderer (Mark) of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Mariah Sumner of Alexandria, VA and Caleb Sumner of Vale, CO; her great grandchildren, Zachary Ferderer of Racine, WI and Lt. Andrew Ferderer; her sister Earline Law of Eden, NC; her caregiver Iona Scales; and her friend Conrad "Gus" Shinn of Charlotte, NC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
