She is survived by: her children, Patricia Parris of Eden, Sharon Tinsley of Eden, Yolanda Thompson of Greensboro and Damiano Brooks (Lorraine) of Ruffin; her siblings, Teresa Galloway of Greensboro and William Hairston of Eden; her godchildren, Caitlyn Fontiane of Madison and Domonic Martin of Jacksonville, Florida; her sister Christene Martin; and her close friend Mother Hallie Thompson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild.
