He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Richardson and Mamie Myers Richardson; his wife Judy Powell; and his brothers, Francis, Keith and Maurice.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Wood (David) and Russ Richardson (Gina); his grandchildren, Ethan Wood (Katrina), Levi Richardson (Halie), Rebekah Yeatts (Tylan) and Kolby Richardson (Maddie); his great grandchildren, Myers Richardson, Palmer Richardson and Valley Yeatts; his sister-in-law Sandra Richardson of Greensboro; and his caregiver Bonnie Hale.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Brethren (730 Church St, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
