He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Carl Carroll; his grandfather George Newman; his uncle Stephen Grogan; and his aunts, Sherry Grogan and Carol Clarke.
He is survived by: his parents, Charles Grogan and Clarita Newman Grogan; his wife Kathryn "Katie" Carroll Grogan; his children, Joseph "J. J." Grogan, Jr. of Eden, Kali Grogan and Liam Grogan; his siblings, Candice Tatum (Kyle) and Caleb Grogan (Crystal) of Sandy Ridge; his mother-in-law Tamara Joyce Carroll of Madison; his grandmothers, Mary Lue Grogan and Linnie Newman; his nieces and nephews, Luke and Ryleigh Grogan; and his brothers-in-law, Jason Joyce of Madison, Matthew Joyce of Flintstone, GA and Joey Carroll of Madison.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (1821 Ashley Loop, Reidsville, NC 27320).
