He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otis Littlejohn and Overa Kendrick Littlejohn; and his son John K. Littlejohn, II. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Brown Littlejohn; his daughter Elizabeth Robinson (Steve Morgan); his granddaughter Caroline Blankenship (Zach Blankenship); his brother Stanley Littlejohn (Toni Littlejohn); his stepgrandsons, Scott Morgan (Jami), Justin Morgan (Kelly), Bryce Morgan and Dylan Morgan (Kate); his great grandchildren, Avery, Harrison and John; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Whit and Madeline; and his friend Mary Fruci, RN.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eden First Baptist Church (533 Greenwood St, Eden, NC 27288).
