She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby G Knighten; the father of her children Bobby G Knighten; her parents, Fletcher Strader and Elsie Scearce Strader; and her sister Sybil S Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Tammie K. Hill (Joey) of Eden, NC and Steven R. Knighten (Gloria) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Crissy, Ryan Hill of Eden, NC and Heather T. Pennycuff of Victoria; and her sister Margie S. Allen of Ruffin, NC. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 2 nephews, 1 niece and 1 great niece.
