He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Stafford and RosieBell Compton Agee; his wife Agnes Chilton Agee; and his siblings, Alton, Sammie Agee, Clara Carey, Annie Hylton and Lena Whitney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Byrd (Richard) of Albemarle, NC and Wendy Moore (Tom) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Bryant Byrd (Genna), Jason Byrd (Romina), Daniel Fargis and Hannah Moore; his great grandchildren, Noah, Elizabeth Byrd, Sofia and Miya Byrd; and his siblings, Reva Custer (Roger), Frances Meeks (Talmadge) and James Agee (Rose).
