It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Morehead Jumper of Eden, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morehead and Sallie Morehead; her husband Robert Allen Jumper, Sr.; her daughters, Debra Jumper Dodd and Jewell Jumper Henderson; and her siblings, Michael Jumper, Tim Jumper, Qena Dodd Jennings, Jamel "Nick" Adams, Steven Jumper and Maya Jumper.
She is survived by: her siblings, James, Curtis, Robert, Porter Morehead, Katherine Mary (Pearle), Lillie and Sallie; her sons, Robert Allen Jumper, Jr. (Marva) and Steve Jumper (Barbara); her son-in-law James; and her granddaughter Valeria "Val" Adams. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Elizabeth was a proud member of The Order of the Eastern Star whose mission is charity, service and fellowship.
