He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Haizlip and Ruby Kallam Haizlip; and his wife Brenda Brim Haizlip. He is survived by: his children, Faye Ann Haizlip (James) of Eden, Carlton Lewis Haizlip (Janice) of Eden, James "Ricky" Haizlip (Ruth) of Caswell, Bobby Dean Haizlip of Reidsville, Kathy Lynn Haizlip (Kenneth Smith) of Eden, April Love Haizlip of Eden and Darrell Wesley Hurd (Dorothy) of Eden; and his siblings, Billy Haizlip (Diane) of Reidsville, Charlie Haizlip (Wendy) of Ruffin, Patsy Evans (Daniel) of Ruffin and Connie Lovings (Peewe) of Reidsville. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
