She is survived by: her husband Melvin Smith, Sr.; her son Melvin Smith II (Tina) of Bowie, MD; her siblings, Warren Clark Jr. of Eden, NC, Lorene Hairston (Lyn) of Martinsville, VA and Beatrice Clark Hampton (Bobby) of Sandy Level, VA; her siblings-in-law, Homer Junior Smith of High Point, NC, Joann Smith of Eden, NC and Darlene Hollowell of Eden, NC; her granddaughters, Tiye Smith, Trinity Smith and Destiny Smith; her stepgranddaughter Janay Morgan; and her grandson Melvin Smith III of Bowie, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
