She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Kennon and Dolly Kennon; her former husband Floyd Hancock; her husband Manfred Blanchard; her daughter Cathy Blevins; her grandson Shane Stroud; and her siblings, Jessie Kennon, Ruby Adkins, Lucille Baker, Melvin Kennon, Viola Allen and Hazel Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Taylor of Hamilton, Marie Johnson (Bobby) of Eden, NC, David and Larry Blanchard; her grandchildren, Robbie Deel, Bobby Johnson (Kelly), Candice Taylor, Jessica Powers, Heather Mills (John), Ryan Johnson (Evie) and Britney Purvis (Matt); and her siblings, Frances Pierce, Veronica Duck and Billy Kennon. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
