She was predeceased by: her parents, Hunter R. Hamlin Sr. and Edna Patterson Hamlin; her husband Forest Junior Broadnax; and her siblings, Brenda Ann Harper, Gladys Cummings, Hunter R. Hamlin Jr. and William Hamlin.
She is survived by: her sister Marie Hamlin Dalton of Reidsville, NC; her uncle Gilbert Hamlin of Cascade, VA; and her cousins, Charlotte Franklin (Joe) of Madison, NC and Carolyn Mccullough (William) of Stoneville, NC. She is also survived by three daughter nieces.
