With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Darity Williams of East Flat Rock, North Carolina, born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Frank Darity, Sr.; and her siblings, Frank Darity, Jr., Annie L. Coleman and Peggy Ann Darity. She is survived by: her siblings, Alice Ware of Charlotte, Diane Parrish of Fletcher and Alfonso Darity of Fletcher; her niece Meka Nesby of Fletcher; her goddaughter Brittany Bettini of Mills River; and her uncle Grafton Young, Sr. of Fletcher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, all who attend the Funeral Service are REQUIRED to wear a face mask and practice social distancing) Ms. Irene Theresa "Resa" Darity Williams departed this life peacefully at Duke University Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
