He was predeceased by: his parents, Alby Jones and Willie Mae Jones. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Michael Jones (Angela) of Pinehurst, NC and Michelle Bishop of New York; his brother David Jones (Lynnette); his grandchildren, Kathryn J. Oakley (Brandon) of Pinehurst, Michael Jones, Jr. of Pinehurst, Christian Bishop of Asheville, Jaden Moore of Florida, Araja and Zen Kyyboa of New York; his nephew Kyle Jones (Marisa) of Texas; and his niece Allison Rushing (Blake) of Asheville.
Memorials may be made to The Children's Home Society of NC in Greensboro or the His Kids Day Care at First Baptist Church East Flat Rock.
