It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zola Kelly Speer (East Bend, North Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Zola Kelly Speer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry L. Kelly and Mary Ethel Hobson Kelly; her husband Charles Truett Speer; and her siblings, Jerry L. Kelly, Jr. (Bud), Tom Kelly, Marie Dinkins, Jean Hennings, Mary Adalene Herndon (Jo), Hazel Pribble, Irene Robinson and Arlene Wooten.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Speer (Debbie) of East Bend, Mike Speer (Cynthia) of Yadkinville and Sharon Gentry (Steve) of Lewisville, NC; her grandchildren, Nikki Raleigh (Todd) of Kernersville, Natalie Snow (Tony) of Yadkinville, Chad Gentry (Courtney) of Weymouth, MA and Emma Gentry of New York; and her great grandchildren, Genevieve Raleigh, Jacqueline Raleigh, Emerson Raleigh, Camden Snow, Easton Snow, Weston Gentry and George Gentry. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to that dedication the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baltimore Global Methodist Church Building Fund, 2419 Baltimore Road, East Bend, NC 27018.
