She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Daniel Mathis and Thelma Billings Mathis; and her brother Roger Dale Mathis. She is survived by: her sons, Blake Johnson (Angie) and Brock Johnson; her granddaughter Ashlyn Brook Johnson; her sisters, Gloria Manning (Silas) and Kay Ferguson (Chuck); her nephews, Timothy Dean Spicer, Paul Manning and Scott Manning; her niece Pam Harrelson; her great-niece Danielle Harrelson; and her great-nephew Landon Spicer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Auction House (1105 Flint Hill Rd, East Bend, NC 27018).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brenner's Children Hospital, 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
