With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard James Taylor of East Bend, North Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Glen Taylor and Valley Lane Taylor; and his sister Kathy Liles. He is survived by : his close friend Kay Wiles; his daughter Robin Taylor Mikles (Ronald); his grandchildren, Rebecca Johnston (Lucas) and Allison Norman (Russell); his great grandchild Liam Johnston; and his siblings, Brenda Melton and Jerry Taylor (Judy).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
