He is survived by: his wife Linda Hill; his children, Dean Castor Jr. (Tandi) of Hilton Head, William Regnery of Hollywood, David Regnery (Leigh Anne) of East Bend, Heath Hill II (Ashley) of East Bend, L. P. Hill II (Alyson) of Winston Salem and Juliet Hennessy (Mark) of Knoxville, TN; his stepmother Carolyn Poindexter of East Bend; his siblings, Caroline Taylor of Columbia, SC, Julia Hinnant (Dwight) of Oak Island, Brooke Balun (Scott) of Alpharetta, GA and Bradley Poindexter of East Bend; his grandchildren, Ellissa Nelson (Jason), Blake Hennessy, Kerry Hennessy, Kelly Hennessy, Kirby Adams (Seth), Grant Castor, William Regnery III, Matthew Regnery, Elisabeth Jeffries (Ross), Avery Johnson, Ashlyn Hill and Luke Hill; and his great grandchildren, Mason Nelson, Jaxson Nelson and Kinsley Adams.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Huff Funeral Home (212 Main St, East Bend, NC 27018). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
