With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jackie David Williams of East Bend, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Williams and Sylvania Smitherman Williams; his sister Jane Wright; and his son Ken Williams. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Choplin Williams; his stepchildren, Grant Hampton (Nikki) and Lisa Hampton; his grandsons, Scott Williams (Jackie) and Evan Williams (Emily); his stepgranddaughter Shay Hampton; his great grandchildren, Austin J. Sebastian (Nate Larose) and Jaxson Williams; and his daughter-in-law Tina B. Williams (Greg Brown).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service (428 E Main St, East Bend, NC 27018). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gentry Family Chapel (428 E Main St, East Bend, NC 27018). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the East Bend Baptist Church (112 Fairground Rd, East Bend, NC 27018).
