He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Trivette and Sarah Reynolds Trivette; his son Randy Trivette; and his siblings, Velma, Mary Ann and Wilson Trivette.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Trivette; his daughters, Kathy Hardee (Johnny), Judy Gonzalez (Juan), Linda Hart (Ray) and Tina Shouse (Jason); his siblings, Grady Trivette, Jr. (Carolyn) and Shirley Bost (Bob); his grandchildren, Reuben Gonzalez, Christina Crowley (Jason), Rick Trivette, Sam Shouse (Tiffany), Christopher Gonzalez, Victoria Gonzalez and Kayla Shouse; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jaxson Crowley and Luke Shouse; his nieces, Patty Gunter, Debbie Hutchins and Evelyn Spainhour; and his nephew Donald Jones.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family for a flower garden to be planted in Jay's honor.
