We bid farewell to Edward Haynes (East Bend, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haynes and Pearlie Haynes; his wife Audrey Smoot Haynes; his daughter Lisa Gail Haynes; and his siblings, Lalar "Wavalene" Haynes and Landon Clay Haynes.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Robin White; his sister Shelva Jean Stratton; his nephew Perry Haynes; his great-niece Danielle Haynes; and his son Jeffrey Grey Haynes. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Community Baptist Church (2216 Hennings Rd, East Bend, NC 27018). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
