She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. Johnston and Allie Lee Reece Johnston; and her husband Floyd R. Poindexter. She is survived by: her children, Nick R. Poindexter, Cassandra C. Greene (Marty), Jerrie M. Poindexter and Danny Poindexter (Susie); her grandchildren, Kenneth W. Stroud, Brad R. Stroud, Matthews Coins and Adam Coins; and her sister Sadie Bryant. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends and caregivers.
