Delmer Eugene Pettit Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 87, Delmer Eugene Pettit (East Bend, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pettit and Flossie Mae Omara Pettit; his wife Sue Brown Pettit; his son Craig Eugene Pettit; and his siblings, Elmer Pettit, Calvin Pettit, Harold Pettit, Catherine Jackson (Roland) and Geraline Knight (Ronnie).
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Jester Pettit; his grandchildren, Devin Pettit and Aubrey Pettit; his brothers, Jackie Pettit (Ann) and David Pettit; and his sister-in-law Marietta Pettit. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Community Baptist Church (2216 Hennings Rd, East Bend, NC 27018). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 243 West Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC 27055.
