She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Fox and Danie Alice Baldwin Fox; her husband Harry Robert Houston Sr.; her son Harry Houston Jr.; and her siblings, William James Fox, Lovey Ann Fox, Violet Louise Fox, Dessie May Fox, Grace Wanda Compton, Loraine F. Fox, George Max Fox, Ezra Marce Fox, Geraldine Jerri Testerman, Rae Dunmon and Greta Dixie Fox.

She is survived by: her sons, Brian Houston (Tara) and Joe Houston; her grandchildren, Kimberly Wood (Paul), Emily Houston, Hannah Houston and Brandon Houston; and her great grandchild Catherine Grace Carswell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
