She is survived by: her children, Shirley Rouson of Greensboro, Peggy Jones of Greensboro, Evelyn Lipford (Cecil) of Lenoir, Ellen Carr (David) of Hudson and Monroe Patterson (Robin) of Lenoir; her daughters-in-law, Lorraine Patterson of Brooklyn and Sarah Lott of Buffalo; and her siblings, Carolyn Smith of South Carolina and John Fox of Lenoir. She is also survived by 24 Grandchildren, 50 Great Grandchildren, and 22 Great-Great Grandchildren.
