She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur LeGrand and Sallie Dumas; her son Danny; her grandson Anthony (Rondell); and her siblings, Luretha (Lulu) and Samuel (Buddy).
She is survived by: her husband Leander Person; her children, Anne Thompson (Joe) of Bronx, NY, O'Neal Person (Charlotte) of Bronx, NY, Ricky Person (Pamela) of Winston Salem, NC and Michael Person (Denise); her siblings, Hannah Mae Penn (Pen), Will LeGrand (Helen), Shirley Cagle (Charles), Carrie Wallace (Perry), Martha Baldwin (Walt), Brenda Legrand (Jerry) and James Legrand (Darlene); and her grandchildren, Keenan, Kyle, Krystal, Keisha, Devonia, Devonte, Charmaine, Gretchen, Danielle, Latavia, Roshell, Raven, Rikeya, Jamel, Demetrius, Mikey, Rodney, Edward and Nyah. She is also survived by niece along with a host of other nephew, nieces, cousins, a growing number of great-grandchildren and dear friends.
