She was predeceased by: her husband William Lynn Martin; her daughter Dixie Martin; her parents, H. M. Staley and Ethel Staley; her siblings, Alfred, John Staley and Lee Hughes; and her son-in-law Thurman Parrish.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Parrish, Dale Martin (Paula), Shirley Ferguson (Ernest), David Martin (Tammy) and Dana Martin (Amy); her sister Alice Staley of High Point; and her caregivers, Danielle Jennings of Sanford, Kathy McSwain of Sanford, Chanda Rice of Sanford and Emma Sinclair of Sanford. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
