He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Elam Harris; his sons, David Eugene Harris, Jr. (Laura) of Candor, John Mack Harris (Evelyn Harris) of Morehead City and Charles Patrick Harris (Donna) of Eagle Springs; his siblings, William P Harris (Anne) of High Point, Rebecca Williams (Becky) of Candor and Ann Batten (Gary) of Eagle Springs; and his grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth, Jordan, Callie, John Michael, Katie, Will and Abril. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
