He is survived by: his wife Alma Walker Strickland; his children, Quincy Strickland (Angela), Sharron Parker of Timberlake, NC and Tamra Webster (Ken) of Snow Camp, NC; his brothers, Larry Strickland (Jane) of Durham and Roy Strickland (Fanny) of Oxford, NC; his grandchildren, Wayne Strickland, Lorena Hyde, Melissa Westbrook and William Parker (Sam); and his great grandchildren, Zack Hyde, Daisy Hyde, Isabella Hyde, Douglas Westbrook and Mia Parker.
