It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Clyde Walker Jr. of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde Walker Sr. and Martha Browning Walker. He is survived by: his wife Martha Walker; his children, Michael Walker (Heather) and Mindy Walker Vukmer (Matt); his grandchildren, Will Walker, Ty Walker, Gavin Vukmer and Avery Vukmer; his siblings, Betsy Newman (Dwight) and Wayne Walker (Pat); and his caregivers, Isabel Ventura, Gary Garcia, Gayle Taliaferro, April Rhew and Wanda Waiters. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of lifelong friends.
