It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Sloan Sr. (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Brown Sloan and Marvin Vance Sloan; and his wife Sally Chrissman Sloan. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Duncan (James) and Larry Sloan Jr. (Jan); his siblings, Bruce Sloan (Alice), Allen Sloan (Debbye), Brenda Hicks and Sarah Sloan; his grandchildren, Brandon Duncan, Treva Duncan, Louisa Walter (Steven), Virginia Cartledge (Eric) and Sarah Sloan; and his great grandchildren, Cole Duncan, Luke Duncan, Bryce Gordan, Maci Gordan, Vance Walter and Graham Walter.
