It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Varsha Chiminlal Shah (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Varsha Chiminlal has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her children, Kamalesh Rao (Angela Chou) and Neela Rao McDade (Henry Cooper McDade III); and her grandson Zain Cooper McDade.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Service (1113 W Main St, Durham, NC 27701).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital for children, one of the many charities Varsha gave to in her lifetime.
