It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie Williams Calhoun (Durham, North Carolina), born in Etowah, Arkansas, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Calhoun; her grandson Caleb Calhoun; and her great grandchild Cate Calhoun-DeLorenzo. She is survived by: her children, Scott Calhoun (Tracy) of Coal Valley, IL, Julie Stoops (David) of Durham, NC and Joseph Calhoun (Cheryl) of Irvine, CA; her grandchildren, Lindsay Calhoun (Ann DeLorenzo), Laurel Dean (Aaron), Hannah Thompson (Chase), Linnea Stoops and Emma Stoops; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Emmitt Dean, Nina, Jude Calhoun-DeLorenzo, Owen Thompson and John Thompson; and her siblings, Jackie Harris and Taylor Williams. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
