He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarine Harris Allen (Williams) and Vista Burton Harris; and his sister Eleanor Susan Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Marie Harris; his pet Missy; his son Scott Harris; his stepson Dennis Key (Jessica); his brother David Harris (Vivian); and his granddaughter Madison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
